A solitary red elephant emerges from a turbulent moonlit sea, beginning a mysterious journey from water toward land. Surrounded by dark mountains, rolling waves and an extraordinary luminous sky, the elephant appears both vulnerable and resolute. This painting became the beginning of a larger imagined migration—one that would ultimately inspire the series and A Moonlit Night poem. Each painting purchased from the series is accompanied by a signed copy of the poem.
